Base Layers

These Galvin Green clothes are available in Compression 10, good for temperatures below 10°c and Compression 20, which is ideal for temperatures below 20 °c.

Warm Layer
This layer as the name suggest, is designed to keep the body at its optimum temperature. It makes use of two fabrics:
Windstopper - A perfect materials for both trousers and jackets

Insula – A great fabric for pullovers and body warmers
- Excellent thermal properties brought about by trapping air, which is an ideal insulator against the cold
- Maximum breathability ensuring moisture travels freely to the outside world
- Soft, stretchy and machine washable. Perfect under Windstopper or Gore-Tex golf clothes
When the weather turns hot golfers need to remain cool to conserve energy for play. Galvin Green clothes range recognises this requirement and includes golf shirts that are manufactured from a fabric called Ventil8. Its technical fibers transport moisture to a greater area, allowing it to evaporate twice as quickly as standard polyester.
Dry or Protective Layer
Designed to be totally waterproof, stopping the rain coming in but allowing perspiration to pass freely through, keeping the wearer comfortable and dry. Galvin Green top of the range waterproof golf clothing is manufactured from Gore-Tex Performance Shell. In this construction the outer fabric is bonded to a PTFE membrane, which is in turn protected by an inner lining. Seams are sealed using Gore-Seam technology, which ensures a durable seal. The result, stylish golf clothing that is guaranteed totally waterproof, yet breath.
Jackets and trousers manufactured from Packlite Shell, as the name suggests, are lighter, achieved by elimination the lining and are ideally suited for packing into a golf bag. They are
