Cobra Speed Series
|
The Cobra Speed Series golf drivers are the first driver line designed to optimize every player’s unique ball speed for unmatched distance and accuracy. Across the series, The Cobra Speed Series has golf’s largest face area which means a hotter clubface with greater forgiveness. A wide body sole design takes the golf driver’s centre of gravity lower and further back in the clubhead by pushing the Dual Weighting System inserts back and out towards the perimeter of the sole. This generates higher MOI (Moment of Inertia) for greater clubhead stability, improved accuracy and unmatched forgiveness. |
Surely one of the simplest routes to a custom-fitted golf driver, for golfers of all levels! |
Varied, as Cobra Speed Drivers are available in the following models – X/Speed, F/Speed and M/Speed, depending on the player’s ball speed - often related to experience. The X/ (extreme) Speed is for better players with a faster ball-speed, whilst the M stands for moderate and the F for faster ball speed. |

Wilson Dd6
|
Our most forgiving golf driver just got friendlier. The ETF frame captures energy and focuses it toward the face, doubling the size of the Maximum COR Hot Zone. Underneath, rear-positioned L-Pods deliver a higher launch angle. This technology is complemented by a confidence-inspiring 460cc head, making the all new Dd6 perfect for the player seeking maximum distance with forgiveness. |
With its ETF frame and cutting edge clubhead design, this distance golf driver being touted as the company’s best-ever premium wood. |
Ideal for mid-handicappers, looking to take advantage of the extra distance offered by the double COR zone. |

TaylorMade r7 425
|
The large 425 cc clubhead offers exceptionally high MOI and forgiveness for consistently long, straight results. Golfers can choose from six sets of launch conditions, with 28 grams of movable weight that can be utilized across four widely-spaced TLC ports. Inverted Cone Technology provides a larger area of the clubface to deliver higher ball velocity and greater distance, and Ultra-Thin Wall Technology permits the clubhead walls to be 25% thinner than the walls of previous versions. |
TaylorMade lead, rather than follow, in the golf driver market, and you can expect this golf driver to do what it says on the tin. |
An excellent choice for all golfers; good players will enjoy the extra distance whilst and game improvers may well find the moveable weights improve their accuracy. |

Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT3
|
The new science of distance with accuracy, making the Callaway Fusion FT-3 Driver one of Callaway's best performing golf drivers. Since Callaway Golf engineers can precisely position the discretionary weight in optimal locations, you can select a weighting configuration to meet your specific swing needs. This means you don't need to adjust your swing to generate better results. The club features ultra hot forged titanium cup face, designed for maximum energy transfer and distance on shots hit on all areas of the face. |
Used by Phil Mickleson to win the 2006 Masters and Michael Campbell to win the US Open. The advanced internal weighting means each weight/loft combination is uniquely designed to actively influence your specific ball flight and get you farther down the fairway and closer to the green. |
Not just for the pros, the FT3 is suited to all golfers, especially as you can select a weighting configuration to meet your specific swing needs. |

Masters MC-Z700
|
This lightweight solution creates the opportunity to deliver a large face area and head size for extra forgiveness, plus low and back weighting for a higher launch angle and greater carry.
The titanium face is truly ‘hot’, offering maximum spring-like effect for speed off the club face and thus greater distance. Six weight configurations are created by two tungsten and two aluminium weights. The aluminium weights are lighter than the tungsten, allowing the golfer to reconfigure the weight in the clubhead to help correct a hook or slice, or create a higher or lower launch angle, according to his needs. |
Adjustable weighting at budget prices - must be good, with a starting price (shaft-dependent) of under £100. |
Ideal for medium to high handicappers, who will have most to gain from the optional weights and ‘hot’ face. |

Ping G5
|
Still growing its reputation for distance and accuracy on tee boxes around the world, the G5 Driver carries its technology inside. The 460cc golf driver's internal weighting system, which is achieved by moving eight grams of weight from the crown and face to the sole, ideally positions the centre of gravity for lower spin and higher launch. |
The 460cc centrepiece of the G5 range refines the titanium head of the G2 series, with its superior internal weighting. Slicers should consider the off-set version, for a draw bias. |
Ideal for mid-handicappers, who will appreciate the low spin rate and higher launch, leading to greater distance. |

Yonex Cyberstar CT
|
The Cyberstar CT Driver features a 460cc carbon graphite and titanium head. Building on the success of the Tour-proven Cyberstar Nanospeed Driver; the Cyberstar CT combines the power of carbon graphite with the distance of titanium, to produce a very long and forgiving golf driver. The weight saving carbon graphite crown allows for more mass to be positioned lower and deeper within the club, launching the ball faster, higher and with a reduced spin rate for greater distance and forgiveness. A strategically placed tungsten weight in the sole to sends the C of G lower and deeper still, and helps square the club face at impact. |
The fusion of carbon graphite and titanium in the crown of the clubhead, which Yonex engineers have worked hard to develop, certainly makes it lighter in feel and helps reposition the weight deeper for a faster, higher ball flight. |
Its distance and forgiveness make the CT a great golf driver for the mid-handicapper.

Mizuno MX-500
|
The MX-500 460cc golf driver combines the forgiveness and ball flight of an oversized driver with the control normally expected in a smaller clubhead. A lightweight graphite toe-insert reduces the tendency for pushed tee shots, allowing the clubface to square naturally for solid impact. High, longer ball flights are delivered through the use of an ultra-light graphite crown, which allows 30 grams of weight to be moved lower and deeper in the clubhead. |
Having pioneered carbon-crown technology in drivers, Mizuno now evolves the principle with the lightweight graphite toe-insert. |
Ideal for mid-handicappers, the toe insert specifically encourages an inside swing-path, making it superb for slicers and anyone seeking extra yards from a right-to-left ball flight.
