What the manufacturer says

Our Verdict

Most suited to

DH6 Hybrid Club Image

Wilson Staff Dh6

Features a rear internal sole weight, which moves the centre of gravity lower and further back, for a better launch angle. ETF (energy transfer frame) technology redirects energy back to the club face effectively doubling the max COR hot zone.

The Dh6 helps to get the ball airborne faster, whether from a tight fairway or the deep rough.

A good all round club, stable at impact and easy to get the ball airborne. Aimed at all golfers.

Masters Hybrid Club Image

Masters
MC-Z700

Features a carbon composite crown allowing low and back weighting for a higher launch angle and greater carry. The playability of this club is increased by the inclusion of moveable weights, one tungsten and one aluminium, that helps golfers to customize their ball flight.

The MC-Z700 offers versatility and playability with the composite crown and moveable weight options.

A great value for money club offering excellent performance. The moveable weights are especially useful for higher handicappers.

Heavenwood Hybrid Club Image

Callaway
Big Bertha Heavenwood

The versatile and forgiving low profile head design positions the centre of gravity low and deep in each loft for ease in getting the ball airborne from a variety of turf conditions whilst the elongated heel-toe shape broadens the sweet spot zone for solid forgiveness on off centre shots. The modified War Bird sole glides through the fairway, rough or sand with minimal resistance to make solid contact and promote maximum power every time.

Great for confidence, consistency and playability anywhere on the course, giving you the performance of a long iron and the forgiveness of a fairway wood.

A great all-round versatile club that will suit most golfers.

Ping G5 Hybrid Club Image

Ping
G5 Hybrid

The first-ever wood-like hybrid from PING is distinguished by a sloped crown which positions the centre of gravity low and back to promote a higher launch and greater control. Similar variable-thickness face geometry used in their drivers and fairway woods is applied to the G5 Hybrid. The 455 steel face is machined and robotically plasma welded to provide distance and consistency. The precision of the welding process allowed them to reposition saved weight on the sole to optimise spin for maximum distance and control.

Distinctive sloped crown shifts centre of gravity low and away from the face.
Compact head and curved sole make it a handy club in all conditions, especially from the rough.

Compact head will appeal to better players, but is equally good for all golfers especially where they need to hit a long, high, soft-landing approach shots.

Mizuno Hybrid Club Image

Mizuno
Fli-Hi CLK

The Fli-Hi CLK bridges the distance gap between conventional woods and irons.
A deep centre of gravity makes it more forgiving than the traditional long iron, while the narrow body and short shaft give greater control than a fairway wood.
A high launch angle and wide effective hitting area is created through the use of a lightweight graphite crown, allowing 15g of weight to move lower and deeper within the head. Versatility from a variety of lies is provided through a rounded cambered mid sole and blunted leading edge.

This is an outstanding, easy-to-hit utility. Unlike the standard Fli-Hi iron, which is aimed at better players, it is incredibly straightforward to launch shots on a high, arcing flight with this club.

Best for mid to high-handicappers as the Fli-Hi CLK is more forgiving than the Fli-Hi iron and will suit players that prefer a fairway wood to a long iron.

PGA Hybrid Club Image

PGA Collection System Match

Extremely versatile from tee, fairway or rough producing a higher launch, longer flight and softer landing than the equivalent long irons.
A big sweet spot and shorter iron length shafts makes them very easy to hit and forgiving.

These hybrids offer longer, higher shots than traditional irons and are interchangeable with any PGA Collection iron set. They perform superbly and are available at a great price.

All golfers seeking both performance and value for money.

cyberstar XC Hybrid Club Image

Yonex Cyberstar XC

The Cyberstar XC hybrid features a steel face and sole with a lightweight carbon graphite crown. The weight saved in the crown allows the centre of gravity to be positioned lower and deeper within the club for a high launch, aiding control to shots into the green.
The V-shape sole design allows for minimum ground drag during the ball strike for extra forgiveness and reduced power loss.

The technology in the head allows for higher launch shots and longer ball flight.

Excellent all round performer suited to all golfers.
