TaylorMade R9 Driver revolutionises the shaft and clubhead relationship by allowing the clubhead to be fixed into 8 different positions, while you can also move three moveable weights. So in fact your getting 24 drivers in one and a side to side adjustment of up to 75 yards.

Flight Control Technology

Allows the player to easily adjust a metalwood's loft lie and face angle. It utilises a metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The sleeve can be rotated into different positions. Changing the characteristics of the head by loosening the bolt that secures the sleeve and shaft into the club head.

Movable Weight Technology

Is discretionary club head weigh that can be easily redistributed by the player to change the characteristics of the club. By moving differently weighted cartridges, using a proprietary TaylorMade wrench, into strategically positioned ports, CG location can be optimised per golfer. Position more weight into the heel and less into the toe, speeds the club head rotation during the forward swing, which promotes a draw and/or reduces a slice.

Inverted Cone Technology

The Inverted Cone Technology is CNC milled directly into the inner side of the clubface, resulting in a drastic variation in face thickness. ICT optimises the way the clubface behaves at impact to create an expanded COR zone.

Ultra Thin Wall Technology

A casting process that allows thinner clubhead walls than found in most competitive drivers. The saved weight is critical to making the incorporation of MWT and FCT possible.

Shaft

The TaylorMade R9 Driver come with a Fujikura Motore 65 gram low torque graphite shaft with High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) Technology which promotes faster ball speeds.
