| Galvin Green’s Insula TM golf sweaters provide the warmth needed when the weather has a nip in the air. They are ideal for the Warm Layer having great thermal insulation and wicking properties. The Warm Layer requires fabrics that are designed to stop the loss of air warmed by the body. Air is a good insulator and so the fabrics need to trap it close to or within itself. However this in it self is not enough, as the garment must breath in order for any moisture wicked by the Fresh Layer to pass on it way to the outside world. Galvin Green’s Insula TM fabric has a waffle pattern on the inside, which creates air chambers that are warmed by the body and provide extremely effective and long lasting thermal insulation. Added to this the golf sweaters are soft, light and snug fitting making them ideal as the intermediate layer under a GORE-TEX® or WINDSTOPPER® fabric. Galvin Green Sweaters |
