Ping Rapture V2 irons

Three metals combined together to maximise the benefits to golfers so much appreciated on the Tour by ??? to mention but a few.

The club head features a stainless steel body into which a tungsten sole plate and a titanium face have been added. These combine together to move the optimum amount of weight into the wide sole giving golfers the benefit of maximum forgiveness plus launching the ball higher, longer and with more accuracy.

The tungsten weight positioned in the wide sole represents 22% of the head mass but only 16% of the volume. This and the titanium face, which represents 21% of the head volume but only 13% of the weight  move the CG – centre of gravity low and away from the face benefiting the golfer with ideal launch conditions.

Finally the deep cavity allows for the patented tuning port that helps stabilise the face and creates that solid stable feel so sought after by golfers.
