Possibly the most important component of your trolley that needs careful maintenance is the battery. When you first receive it will be charged but it advisable to re-charge it for a further 12 hours just before you use it, ensuing that you use the supplied PowaKaddy charger. When you return, charge it again. Never leave it in a discharged state as this can twist its internal plates. If you are not using it for a long period of time, continue to charge it once a month, it’s well worth the effort as it will give you longer service. Now turning to the trolley itself – be kind to it! Try and avoid large stones, trees stumps and worst of all lakes! When you return after a round clean away any debris, making sure that nothing is rubbing against moving parts. To keep it clean use a mild detergent and warm water, not a high pressure jet washer. Remove the main wheels periodically to fully clean away any debris that might cause them to drag. Clean the spindle and lightly grease before replacing. Do not grease the clutch. And finally in the unlikely event of a problem be certain to take it to an authorised PowaKaddy service centre.
