Sunderland’s Thermal 13 high performance fabric helps golfers maintain the energy balance of the human body. It uses a revolutionary technique to disperse micron-sized aluminium particles within the polyurethane membrane itself. This keeps the golfer warm, by utilising the glinting function of metal to reflect 60% of body warmth back inwards, and so reducing thermal energy from being conducted out through the fabric.

They offer a selection of short and long-sleeved golf shirts, windshirts, windvests and trousers, using their revolutionary CoconaTM fabric, which provides a UV protection factor of 50 and also, through activated carbon embedded in its yarns and fibres, absorbs harmful UVA and UVB rays. As there is no chemical treatment applied to the fabric, there is no danger to the skin.

Made with natural materials derived from coconut shells, the Cocona range is actually refreshed from the act of washing and drying, so keeps shape and texture for longer. Sunderland’s Cocona collection also pulls moisture away from the skin, increasing the evaporation rate and speeding up drying time.
